Disinfection and maintenance of electronic stethoscope

Electronic stethoscope is a reusable medical device with a service life of several years. With the increasing number of patients, there are significant differences in bacteria before and after the use of electronic stethoscope, so the probability of nosocomial infection increases accordingly. Indirect contact is a very important mode of transmission of nosocomial infection, so the disinfection of electronic stethoscope is particularly important.

The following disinfection methods are recommended for all Hanhong electronic stethoscope models:
1. The contact film of the auscultation head can be lightly wiped and disinfected by the user with 75% alcohol;
2. For cleaning, please gently wipe with cotton swab or soft cloth stained with alcohol or water;
3. The operator disinfects at least once a day before application.

Precautions for maintenance:
1. Do not forcibly remove the shell and replace different models of rechargeable batteries or ordinary alkaline batteries without permission, otherwise it will cause heating, explosion or fire;
2. Do not immerse the stethoscope in liquid for disinfection; If the stethoscope is inadvertently immersed in liquid, do not turn on the power supply. Wait until the internal space is completely dry before using the stethoscope;
3. Please avoid using / storing in very high humidity, high temperature or dusty environment;
4. Please avoid applying excessive force to any part of the equipment;
5. Please avoid the equipment falling on the hard floor, especially the concrete, which may cause damage.
